Mike Sherman has spent all his life around auctions. When he was in high school, he had already started to help local Auctioneers and had attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering when he graduated. In fact, Mike was a top in the class when he studied in Mason City, Iowa. After his graduation, he decided to return home so he can help the local auctioneers. By running a few auctions, he was able to create a small family business. In 1984, he became a full-time auctioneer and handled government contracts during weekdays thus making the whole family and staff busy with the job. Their auctions are mostly based in Missouri to lessen the travel time away from kids. Mike has been a Missouri State Auctioneer since 1984 and deals with government, cities, counties, college, conservation, etc. during the week and can also handle household, private business, and real estate whenever possible. Every auction makes use of computerized record keeping to print out all the information needed after completing the transaction that includes the details of check and cash received as well as dollar amounts. Tami Sherman has acquired enough experience in cashiering before working with Mike and handles all the computer work.
