Butler Land Co is owned by Frank, a man with the know-how and decades of experience to provide top-quality services. Frank has plenty of experiences working with Real Estate brokers, appraisers, title insurance companies, farmland investors, farm managers, lenders, attorneys and auctioneers. He also worked with a couple of Farm Service agencies, surveyors, NRCS, FHA, insurance adjusters both building and crop, extension advisors, timber buyers, pipeline companies, coal companies and university personnel. Frank lived most of his life on a ram in Vermilion County, IL. His passion for agriculture led him to finish Agricultural Industries major and Accounting minor from the University of Illinois. He then worked 6 years as a Farm Manager in Danville where he learned the ropes of lending and farm appraisals. He became the Vice President of Agricultural Financial Services at the Farm Credit Services of Illinois for almost two decades. He was also responsible for originating more than 100 million dollars volume of loans, a majority of which is in farm real estate financing. He is also licensed in selling insurance such as crop, hail and life insurance at the Farm Credit. He also has a Real Estate license in Illinois and Indiana as well as an Illinois auctioneer license. Together with his wife, they founded Strawberry Acres that focuses on growing specialty crops. In 2012, Strawberry Acres received the Business of the Year Award by the Vermilion Advantage Ag/Natural Resources Council. They also own other farm real estate in Vermilion County, IL and are members of several state and national specialty crop organizations.
