Arlo Jurrens, Broker/Auctioneer for Legacy Auction & Realty inc. and Century 21 Krogman & Co, began working in the Real Estate market in 2014. In 2011, he attended Auctioneer school at the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA and then earned his real estate license in 2014, and broker license in 2019 at Pro-Ed, Sioux Falls.Jurrens grew up on a farm near Astoria, SD and worked in farming for several years. He had his own small cow/calf operation along with a few horses while in high school and continues to stay in touch with the rural community. After high school, he joined the Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic, and served six years in the military. He was stationed in California, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan. After returning from the military, he joined law enforcement, retiring in 2020 with 22 years of experience. Along with his real estate, broker and auctioneer licenses/certifications, he is the only veteran in the area that has also obtained the American Warrior Real Estate Professional certifications. He continues to attend conferences and industry courses to continue his knowledge in the ever-changing real estate field.In 2020, Jurrens partnered with a friend and started Legacy Auction and Realty, inc. He is committed to helping both buyers and sellers in the real estate market. As an auctioneer he has an additional way to help clients who are looking to sell property. He does all types of auctions to include real estate, personal property, and benefits.Jurrens obtained his Broker license in Minnesota in 2020.
