Yap Auction Co has been in the auction business since 2006. Aside from the usual assets being auctioned, the company also conducts farm, household, commercial, antique, and specialty item auctions (such as guns, coins, antiques, antique toys, vehicles, and many more). Yap Auction Co is owned by husband and wife Joel and Shana Tuxhorn. Joel Tuxhorn graduated from IQ School of Auctioneering and received his auctioneer license in 2004. Joel was born and raised in Nebraska, where he went to McCool Junction High School and Midland University College. The couple has founded several auction companies in different states. They founded a successful antique mall and auction company when they moved to Grand Island from Amarillo, Texas. They also own and operate another successful auction company in Oklahoma. Since the Tuxhorn couple love working hard for their auction business, it is not a surprise that they have founded such successful and continually growing auction companies. As part of their expansion, they are also working on their real estate license, making real estate auctions an exciting future venture. Yap Auction Co conducts consignment auctions on Thursdays and specialty auctions on other days.
