This auction will be for the complete architectural salvage of a mid 1800s farm house built just outside of Wataga, IL. Auction will be for the entirety of the home including the contents. One Italian marble fireplace and one Howard baby grand piano will be sold separately. Successful bidder will have 90 days for removal of all items. Read all descriptions for the best bidder advantage.
Viewing: available upon request. You will need to meet the seller there. The home is currently locked and video monitored. Read Lot #4 for instructions on making an appointment. Must be a registered bidder.

For the best advantage as a bidder, read all the lots and all the terms. Everything will be included in those lots, such as time for removal, person to contact for viewing, what is and is not included and more.
Lot 2 | Removal Dates
The successful bidders have 90 days from the auction date for removal. The successful buyer will be in direct contact with the seller for this process. It is 100% the buyer's responsibility for the removal of all items. MAY 11th will be the last date for any removal.

There are only two items that are not included in this sale and BOTH are present in photos. If you bid on the architectural salvage, these items are NOT included in that purchase: The multiple pane windows (6 or more panes) & the house foundation. The windows will most likely be removed, but there is a chance they will not be. Again, make NOTE....these items are NOT included.

Lot 6 | Italian Marble Fireplace Mantle w/ Cast Iron Cover
This mantle was originally wooden. It was replaced by the family over 60 years ago. No breaks, no damage and 100% complete. Buyer is 100% responsible for removal.
Lot 7 | Howard Baby Grand Piano
Piano has been in this house since its original purchase. Appears to be in good working order with no issues. Hasn't been tuned in some time. Very minor wear to the exterior. Buyer 100% responsible for the removal.
