Lot 1: 25hp International Type D Titan
The Titan Type D, line was introduced in 1910 and was one of the significant models designed by IH to meet the growing demand for more robust tractors capable of handling large-scale farming operations. The big single cylinder is surprisingly smooth and easy to run. The Titan Type D was designed as a general-purpose farm tractor, capable of working on a wide range of tasks, including plowing, hauling, and belt work. The Type D Titan line of tractors were offered in 3 different sizes: 20hp, 25hp, and 45hp. The 20hp and 25hp used the same single cylinder engine as the earlier Type A, Type B and Mogul line of tractors. The Type D line was offered from 1911 until about 1915. Total production for the 25hp Type D was around 1,700 units, with few still surviving today. This is a great running tractor that can be started by hand. It wears an older restoration with a full locomotive style cab. The tractor is complete with a clutch pulley, fair gearing, and original cooling tank. Some of the tin on the roof and sheet metal on the cab has rust. Overall this is a very nice tractor.
Lot 2: Frick Steam Locomotive with Track
This Frick steam locomotive was built around what is believed to have been an original Frick portable boiler.
Originally constructed as a portable boiler, it was believed that it operated in Oklahoma, possibly as a quarry engine.
The owner updated its original six-inch cylinders with an unbalanced valve gear were replaced with larger eight-inch cylinders featuring balanced valves. This modification effectively doubled the piston area, providing substantially more power for tackling grades. The original D-valve cylinders will sell with the engine if the new owner would like to put them back on.
Currently, the engine has been carefully stored indoors for 25 years and was in serviceable condition when last operated. The boiler is a code built boiler that was successfully hydro-tested at 225 PSI before the current owner purchased it.
The plumbing includes twin Penberthy injectors for feeding water from a fiberglass tank. Some fittings appear to be galvanized and should be removed prior to operation.
Currently configured to burn propane through a vaporizer, the locomotive would benefit from conversion to fuel oil or diesel with steam atomization for improved efficiency and heat output.
The engine will come with approx. 1/4 to 1/2 mile worth of custom built track including rails, ties, and hardware.

This 1923 65hp engine, serial number 35664, is a very late engine believed to the seventeenth from the end of production. There are only currently only two known higher serial number engines on the case registry. The engine was purchased from the well known Belden collection out of St. Paul, MN by the current owner. It has a current boiler certification with a maximum working pressure of 170 pounds and the safety valve that’s set at 150 pounds. The engine has a butt-strap seam boiler and it wears a nice restoration along with a full canopy.
Lot 5: 1926 Buffalo-Springfield Gas-Powered Road Roller, Springfield, Ohio
This road roller was manufactured by the Buffalo-Springfield Roller Company, one of the leading builders of road construction equipment in the early 20th century.
Built during a transitional period in American infrastructure, this machine represents the shift from steam-powered rollers to gasoline-powered equipment. While earlier rollers required hours to build steam pressure and multiple operators, this gasoline-powered unit could be started quickly and operated by a single person—greatly improving efficiency for road crews.
Powered by a twin cylinder opposed gasoline engine, the roller was designed to operate at very low speeds while delivering significant compaction force. The design retains many visual elements of earlier steam rollers, including its tall water cooling exhaust stack and riveted steel construction, reflecting the evolution of road-building technology in the 1920s.
This Road Roller is one of thee known to exist is this configuration, has the factory pneumatic controlled scarifier with a onboard belt powered air compressor. Roller runs and operates well.
Lot 6: 1918 Fay and Bowen Steam Boat
This steam boat comes with a rich history of racing on Lake George, NY .
Starting in 1973, Lake George was the scene of an annual steamboat race. The winner the first three years, and, in fact, every year in which he competed, was Mason ‘Doc’ Saunders.
A few years earlier, Saunders had bought a 1918 Fay & Bowen. The hull was stripped and re-caulked in Bolton. Saunders then took it home to Albany and began the four-year job of restoring the boat and converting its engine from gas to steam. The boat was christened Pamelaine, in honor of the Saunders’ two daughters.
By the spring of 1972, she was ready to be launched. When it was announced in 1973 that a steamboat race would be held, Dr. Saunders entered the Pamelaine.
As the Pamelaine moved toward the starting gate, Saunders checked his lines and discovered that at the end of one of them a heavy bucket had been tied. Someone obviously had fears that Saunders would prove a formidable competitor, which, as it turned out, were justified, for that year he won easily.
The current owner restored the hull using the Gougeon Brothers epoxy method and is in fine shape. He used it plenty of times giving boat rides during the 4th of July. It's currently fired with lump charcoal and runs well. The top is capped with a copper sheet which looks great on the water. The boat is considered a 28' and comes complete with the trailer however it will need new tires.
