AUCTIONEERS NOTES: Elton Eller was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, collector, and restorer with a passion for preserving history. An avid rider, pilot, and talented mechanic, he had a knack for making just about anything run. He spent years traveling the country to swap meets, auctions, and shows in search of unique motorcycles, license plates, and historic treasures to add to his collection. The motorcycles and memorabilia offered in this auction reflect a lifetime of collecting, restoring, and preserving pieces of America’s motorcycling heritage. We invite you to explore this exceptional collection and appreciate the history behind each item. Most of these motorcycles were in running condition prior to Elton’s passing in 2008. Before his passing, he documented the history and condition of many of the motorcycles, and those notes will accompany the applicable lots whenever available. Due to the length of time they have been in storage, none of the motorcycles are currently in running condition. However, unless otherwise noted, the engines turn over by hand. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to inspect, restore, and return these pieces of motorcycling history to the road.
