AUCTION CONDUCT: Conduct of the auction and increments of bidding are at the direction and sole discretion of The K and B Auction Company. The K and B Auction Company reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason and also reserves the right to cancel this auction, or remove any item, combine or divide any item or lot from this auction prior to the close of bidding. Auctioneer and staff reserve the right to bid on any auction item as allowed by Georgia state law. Consignors are not allowed to bid on their items. All decisions of The K and B Auction Company are final. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. We reserve the right to reject any bid. The auctioneer shall advance the bid at his/her sole discretion. The auctioneer in his/her sole discretion may determine to re-offer any lot in dispute. In the event of any dispute, our record of the bids shall be accepted as conclusive. The Auctioneer has the right to sell certain unsold items after the close of the Auction. The absence of a condition report is not in any way an indication of any items condition. The catalog listings are meant as a descriptive guide only. CHOOSE WISELY: When you bid on the wrong item or decide an item is not suited for your intended use, our clients are not willing to assume the cost of your mistakes. When in doubt about condition, completeness, or suitability for intended use, please bid accordingly. Bidding is a contractual agreement you enter into with The K and B Auction Company and our sellers to purchase any and all items where you are the high bidder at the end of the lot/item/auction hammer. The K and B Auction Company does not offer Buy Backs or returns on any items.
MAXIMUM BID: When you place your maximum bid, the current bid price doesn't automatically jump to your max bid. Your bid goes to the next highest increment and increases as other people bid against your bid. The computer will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified. By placing any bids you have agreed by legal contract that your bid or maximum bid is what you are willing to pay for that specific lot(s) and may have to pay full bid or maximum bid amount of any bids placed. The buyer agrees and is responsible for every bid amount placed. The K and B Auction Company is a bid at your will auction, meaning you alone are responsible for your bids and actions.
BUYER'S PREMIUM: Unless a specific auction states otherwise, a 15% buyer's premium will be charged on all items and lots. Every bidder/buyer pays the same buyer's premium and should bid accordingly. For example, if you bid $100 on an item at the auction you will be charged $115 for the item on your auction invoice. Please take this into consideration when bidding.
SALES TAX: GA sales tax applies and is dependent on the county in which the auction takes place. Any bidder that has a CURRENT AND VALID GEORGIA TAX EXEMPT CERTIFICATE must email us a copy for our files at least 3 (three) business days (Monday-Friday) PRIOR to bidding in an auction so that we may arrange for tax-exemption status.
AUCTION ENDING: Beginning at the stated closing time, the auction software will conclude bidding for one lot every few seconds in catalog order with the following exception: if a bid is placed in the last 25 seconds remaining for that auction lot, bidding for that lot will automatically extend the auction for additional 30 seconds. Some lots may be grouped together so that a bid on one lot will extend the time on all lots in that group. An e-mail with an attached invoice will be sent to the winning bidder/buyer of each auction after auction has completely closed. Immediately upon the fall of the hammer/close of the lot auction, title will pass to the highest bidder who thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility for the property, including the obligation to immediately pay the full price, buyer's premium, and taxes as required. All bidders will be requested to give their name, driver's license, and credit card information. We shall have the right to reject any bid from anyone who has not established credit with The K and B Auction Company prior to the auction.
PAYMENT: All buyers must pay for their purchases in full within the scheduled timeframe after auction ending. Credit cards payments are run at the close of the auction. The K and B Auction Company accepts the following forms of payment for online auctions: Major Credit Cards. Wire transfers for payment may be required for larger purchases at the discretion of K and B Auction. Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of the bidder/buyer at time of payment and the bidder/buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property at that time. No lots will be released for shipping until all payments are made and cleared in full including all fees and shipping/handling. Bidders with more than one unpaid invoice will be banned from bidding in future auctions until all invoices are paid in full.
REMOVAL: All items must be removed by the end of the designated pickup time. Items left at the auction for longer than 7 days past the last scheduled pick up date are subject to forfeiture. If you have an issue with pick up please contact us as soon as possible. If you need long term storage of your items, please contact Champion Storage at 706-746-5559. They are located behind K and B Auction and will be happy to help you.
SHIPPING: Shipping: It is very important to notify us in a timely manner if you wish to have items shipped. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and charges. All shipping for The K and B is provided by the UPS Store in Franklin NC at 828-524-9800. Feel free to contact them with lot numbers from the auction you are interested in for a shipping quote. All shipping arangements and payment must be made directly with the UPS Store. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that the UPS Store has their payment information and shipping requests. Buyers should contact them directly if they have not been contacted by the UPS Store. They are able to ship both UPS and USPS.
For large items that cannot be shipped through UPS you must arrange your own shipper. We will work with you to help you locate a shipper if you need help but it is the buyer's responsibility for contacting, arranging and paying for any shipping for their purchases.

Hunting items TERMS AND CONDITIONS
It is the buyers responsibility for knowing the laws pertaining to hunting items in their state prior to bidding!
1. All hunting items made after 1897 or for which modern commercially made sporting supplies is readily available must be transferred by a federal hunting items licensed dealer (FFL). Buyers are responsible for knowing all hunting items laws pertaining to their state. No refunds will be given if we are unable to complete a transfer to the buyers state.
2. K and B will serve as transfer dealer for Georgia Residents. ALL transfers will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY and take place at the Mountain City location at 97 Golden Hills Dr., Mountain City, GA 30562
3. Valid ID/driver’s license and CCW (if held) MUST match the purchaser listed on the invoice.
4. If you have a valid GEORGIA driver’s license AND CCW, you will only need to fill out Form 4473. If you have a valid GEORGIA driver’s license and DO NOT have a CCW, you will need to fill out Form 4473 AND complete a background check.
5. If your ID/driver’s license is from out of state, we are required to ship hunting items to an FFL (of your choice) in your state. We use Shipping Saint for shipping. Once we have received a copy of a valid FFL from your local dealer, we will pack and weigh the boxes, input the information into Shipping Saint which will then generate an invoice sent directly to you. Please note UPs requires sporting items to be shipped overnight/Air. Once we have received notification your shipping invoice has been paid, we will print the labels and send your packages on their way. If you happen to be in the Franklin, NC area, we make a weekly ‘hunting item run’ to Depot Street Pawn should that be more convenient than shipping for you.
6. Invoices totaling $5,000 and over will require a wire transfer for payment. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium added to the hammer price, plus tax.
7. We do not do international hunting items sales.
8. K and B Auction reserves the right to deny the transfer of a hunting item to any person for any reason.

Amazing find of this antique framed Trevi Fountain by Francesco Morelli (1768 - 1832) was a French-born painter & chisel engraver who worked extensively in Italy. Morelli produced several copper etchings of Italian locations as part of the "Grand Tour", souvenirs for aristocrats of their travels. This became popular during the late 18th & early 19th centuries, due to the cost & difficulty of transporting paintings during traveling, led to production of detailed etchings which were easy to roll up, transport safely & frame later. Unlike the smaller, decorative tin lithograph boxes that customers bought to take home, these glass-topped containers were rugged commercial counter display units used by shopkeepers to sell biscuits individually by weight. Essential Features & History Purpose: These containers were supplied directly to grocers by Scribbans-Kemp (London) Limited, which operated as one of the largest bakery conglomerates in Britain from the 1930s through the 1960s. The Glass Top: The heavy metal lids feature a built-in clear glass viewing pane or insert. This served a dual purpose: it allowed shoppers to see the fresh biscuits inside while keeping the inventory airtight, crisp, and protected from dust behind the counter.Branding: They typically feature bold, embossed, or lithographed corporate branding around the metal frame or base, reading "Scribbans-Kemp Bakeries" or featuring their signature "SK" logo. This is a great lot of this antique map of Siberia by Century Co., of New York (1888). On this map in the lower left had corner shows a route taken by George Kennan. During research we discovered there were two George Kennans, one, Counselor of the United States Department of State known as an advocate of a policy of containment of Soviet expansion during the Cold War, but this map refers to his older cousin, that entered Siberia in 1885 as a journelist sponsored by Western Union to investigate the Siberian exile system. BP In 1895 Hugo Berger (Goberg) started in Schmalkalden Germany his first metal factory, were decorative ironwork was manufactured in a traditional way. Typical of Goberg's work are the use of honest materials such as iron and brass. The manual character clearly catches the eye. His style, method and materials matched perfectly with the Arts & Crafts movement, a very popular style at that time. In the early 20th century he became well known worldwide, due to the fact that the leading department store Liberty and associated stores, were selling much of his work. In the Netherlands Goberg objects were sold at Metz & Co. In Germany these products were sold at Grau & Co

Wilkes was a 18th century politician in England, he wrote this book as a parody poem based on Alexander Pope’s, "An Essay on Man". Originally, he only intended to print a very limited amount for friends, but it got out. The poem was dedicated to the prominent 18th-century English courtesan Fanny Murray. The poem was proclaimed pornographic & blasphemous. It was eventually read aloud to the House of Lords, which promptly voted it a breach of privilege & a libel. It led to Wilkes being removed from Parliament & leaving the country. This copy was privately printed September 1879, its introduction discussed the prosecution of Wilkes in the House of Lords.
