In 1982, Lonny and Annette McCurdy started McCurdy Auction Service conducting personal property and real estate auctions. By the mid-1980s, the founders had grown the auction firm to 10 staff members, including auctioneer and now Chief Administrative Officer Rick Brock, conducting on-site auctions every week. Lonny and Annette are still involved in the company and have transitioned leadership to their third-generation auctioneer children, Braden McCurdy and Megan McCurdy Niedens.
Today, McCurdy Real Estate & Auction has expanded, offering business services across six different divisions, operating with over 35 employees and conducting over 550 a year, primarily online.
