Terms & Conditions – Kerr Auction

All items are sold AS IS WHERE IS - with no warranty either expressed or implied. All hour meter readings or mileages are believed to be true but are not guaranteed. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!

Inspection – Items are available for inspection by contacting the auction company 217-779-0775. To arrange a time for any bidder to inspect the item in question. If you wish to speak to the consignor directly, please contact us and we will give you that contact information. If you cannot inspect the item or If you are from out of STATE it is our suggestion for the bidder to hire an independent Inspector, Dealership or Appraiser to inspect said piece of equipment for you. It is the bidder’s responsibility to do their DUE DILIGENCE and inspect the item and listing pertaining to said item. Each potential bidder is responsible for his or her own independent inspection.

Buyer Premium – Please view each item if there is a BUYER PREMIUM. That amount will be added to the purchase price of your item.

Payment- Payment must be received within 48 hours after the conclusion of the auction. The buyer will receive an Invoice from Kerr Auction VIA the email provided at the time of registration. Buyer agrees to pay by Cash, Check, Credit Card or Bank Wire. The Buyer is responsible for all bank wire fees. Visa, Discover, or MasterCard, $10,000 maximum charge will be accepted with an additional 5% Convenience Fee.  All wire transfer fees will be the buyer’s responsibility. Sales Tax - For customer's purchasing items used in the "Direct Production" of Agricultural, may fill out an Illinois Sales Tax-Exemption form for those items to be tax exempt. Items such as construction equipment and mowers are NOT tax exempt in the state of Illinois and sales tax must be paid on these types of items. We MUST have a Sales Tax-Exempt form on file for any equipment applicable to tax exemption or sales tax MUST be paid before any item will be released. Successful bidders must contact us within 24 Hrs after the close of the auction to finalize invoicing and payment details.

You will receive a Paid in Full invoice once your payment has been received for the full amount due. This includes the full amount on the invoice plus wire transfer fees. No item can be picked up or shipped without the PAID IN FULL INVOICE.


TITLED VEHICLES – When purchasing a titled vehicle on our auction, you will pay the sales tax when you register the vehicle in your respective county where the vehicle is to be registered.

Shipping- All shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All funds must clear before any item can be removed or shipped.

Removal – All items must be removed within 14 days of the auction unless arrangements are made otherwise. Free dual removal and loading within the first 14 days.  After 14 days, contact York Tire at 217-773-3947 or AC McCarntney at 217-773-3339 and pay them for their services. Any item not picked up or shipped within 60 days of the auction will be RESOLD and no refund will be returned to the buyer.
