Norm & Martha Huff have been lifelong residents of DeWitt County. The Huff's have commissioned Lance Schmid Auctions to offer their lifelong collection of Oliver Tractors, License Plates, Commercial Grade Electrical Tools, Roseville Pottery, Fenton Glassware, Jewelry, and Many, Many more collectible, unique, and rare items. The first auction will open of bidding July 23,2026. Bidding will begin closing Thursday August 13,2026 at 5:30 PM Central time. Auction is located at 6755 U.S. State Highway 51, Clinton, IL 61727. A preview for the auction items will be held Tuesday August 11,2026 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Central Time. This is the first of what could be many auctions for the Huffs. Auction pick up will be held Tuesday August 18,2026 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A forklift will be provided that day to assist in loading large heavy items. This is the only scheduled pick up date. If this date does not work for you, please contact the auction company before bidding. A 15% buyers premium will be added to the final bid price of each lot. The credit card on file will be charged Friday afternoon on all purchases that qualify for charge card charges. Large purchases, purchases of jewelry, equipment, or purchases of larger dollar amounts will require payment by cash, check, or wire transfer. Due to the increase in credit card fraud claims, Lance Schmid Auctions no longer accepts payments of credit cards on large dollar amount items. anvil with tools, used in a blacksmith shop in Beason, IL Fred Stoll was a blacksmith that shoed horses and made tools. The dimensions of the anvil is 27 inches long, 12 inches tall. A very quality anvil. Many of the tools that are displayed on the stump the anvil is secured to was made by Fred Stoll. This is a one of a kind anvil in remarkably nice condition for its age.
