By bidding, you as the bidder, are agreeing to all terms listed. The "The William 'Bill' & James Meriwether Joint Estate Auction" will be an online only auction, with a soft close beginning on Monday, November 30th, 2026 at 5 PM CST. The soft close will be set to 4 minutes. If a new bid is made within 4 minutes of the lot closing, the clock will re-set to 4 minutes and begin a new countdown until no new bids are received within the final 4 minutes of that lot.
Pickup information: Items may be picked up Tuesday, December 1ST, 2026 from 12:00-5:00 PM CST at the auction location outside of Blandinsville, IL. Please pick up your items during the scheduled pick-up times, as there are no alternate pick-up times scheduled. If you are an out-of-state buyer and are unable to pick up your items at the scheduled date and times, please call before bidding to arrange a pick-up time. These appointment times for pick-up will be at the auction company's discretion, convenience, and are subject to availability. If items are not picked up during the scheduled pick-up times, the items will be considered forfeited by the buyer unless alternate arrangements with the auction company have been made. A skidsteer loader will be provided by Kyle Kelso Auctioneer on the pick-up date during the scheduled times. There will be no other dates or times where the skidsteer will be provided by Kyle Kelso Auctioneer. Otherwise, all buyers are required to bring any and all help and assistance needed to pick up, pack and load items. This includes all packing materials needed to pack and load items. Kyle Kelso Auctioneer does not provide any help or materials to pack and load items. If help is needed, please bring that help and any materials with you. KKA personnel will be locating items for other customers and will not be available to assist with packing and loading items. These pick-up and loading terms are in place to protect KKA staff.
INVOICING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION: Following the close of the auction, an invoice will be emailed to the buyer's HiBid email outlining the items won and balance due. HiBid cards are not charged immediately, as the buyer will have the availability to pay the invoice by cash or check at the time of pick-up. If the buyer does not pick up their items, the debit/credit card on file with HiBid will be charged for the open invoice amount and items will be forfeited. There are NO exceptions. If the HiBid card on file cannot be charged at that time (or declines), attempts will be made by email and/or phone to contact the buyer for payment. If the invoice remains unpaid, the buyer may be blocked from bidding on all future auctions.
PLEASE NOTE: If buyers do not pick up items during the pick-up time, those items will be forfeited by the buyer. All items are offered as is, where is, with no faults. All descriptions are believed to be accurate, but are not warranted. There are NO guarantees on ANY items. By placing a bid, you, as the bidder, are signifying you agree to pay the amount due, including Final Bid Price + Buyer's Premium of 15% + card transaction fee of 4% (for card payments only). The 15% Buyer's Premium is assessed to all items, with a $500 cap per item. Payments may be made by cash or check at the time of pick-up. Credit/debit cards may also be used at the time of pick-up when and where internet access is available. If internet is not available, or card payments cannot be taken for any reason, an alternate form of payment will be required. As this auction is located in a rural location, please bring cash or check as a backup form of payment in case card payments are not available.
SHIPPING INFORMATION: Shipping is not available on ALL items. If the "NO shipping" icon is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the lot listing in the auction catalog, shipping is not available for that lot! There is a $7 handling fee assessed to each box and/or package to offset the cost of packing materials and handling services. All items will be shipped through USPS as the first choice for carrier. KKA attempts to ship all items to buyers at the lowest available postal or shipping company rate. Heavier, larger items, packages, and/or boxes may be required to ship through UPS due to size and weight restrictions dictated by shipping companies and the postal service. Items will ship together in one box or package if they will fit and ship safely in one box. Customers who request shipping through HiBid will have their HiBid card on file charged for their winning items immediately following the auction. KKA staff will then work to package items and ready them for shipping. Once the package is prepared for shipping, the $7 handling fee per package + cost of shipping service + 4% card transaction fee will be charged to the HiBid card. This will appear to the buyer as a second charge to the HiBid card - the first being for the items themselves and the second for shipping costs & fees. Please allow up to 20 days for items to ship. Once items are ready for shipment AND invoices are paid in full, buyers will receive an email with shipping information and any applicable tracking information. This information will be included on an attached, updated, paid invoice.
